The 3MF keeps the original colours and print settings. STL is generated from the geometry and has no colours.
STL contains geometry only. Colours and separate objects, as needed for a filament change, are not part of the format.
Clicking the model selects nothing - the view only reacts to held buttons.
The height in U counts the body above the foot; the foot profile is added on top. A 2 × 2 × 3 bin therefore measures 83.5 × 83.5 × 25.75 mm - that is 3 × 7 mm plus 4.75 mm. The lip sits within this height, so bins with and without a lip are equally tall.
Gridfinity is an open organisation system designed by Zack Freedman. The dimensions and part profiles used here follow that specification.
